BSE closes points 479.28 up on May 4
New Delhi, May 4 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 479.28 points up to stand at 27,490.59. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 150.45 points up to stand at 8,331.95. ADITYA BIRLA NUVO LTD. and FORTIS were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 12.53% and 11.68% along with WOCKPHARMA and FRL with an increase of 11.28% and 11.24% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include SHRIRAM TRANSPORT FINANCE CO.LTD. and EXIDE INDUSTRIES LTD. with a decrease of 14.84% and 5.49% along with MARICO and ALSTOM T&D with a decrease of 3.30% and 3.26% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 320.32 points at 18,654.82 while the banking sector is up 200.35 points at 21,231.23 and the realty sector is up at 39.41 points at 1,612.47. The Indian currency is up 0% at Rs 63.42 per dollar.
