BSE closes points 313.62 down on May 25
New Delhi, May 25 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 313.62 points down to stand at 27,643.88. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 88.70 points down to stand at 8,370.25. KAILASH and DISH TV were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 9.96% and 3.78% along with MAX and BRITANNIA with an increase of 3.66% and 3.63% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include INDIAN HOTELS CO.LTD. and NAUKRI with a decrease of 5.72 % and 5.42% along with CANARA BANK and TECH MAHINDRA LTD. with a decrease of 5.08% and 4.85% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 62.34 points at 19,116.40 while the banking sector is down 146.75 points at 21,045.54 and the realty sector is down at 10.75 points at 1,546.79. The Indian currency is up 0.09% at Rs 63.58 per dollar.
