BSE closes points 240.04 up on July 1
New Delhi, July 01 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay stock exchange today closed 240.04 points up to stand at 28,020.87. At the national stock exchange the nifty closed 84.55 points up to stand at 8,453.05. ALOK TEXT and IGL were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 10.54% and 8.98% along with RAJESH EXPO and SRE INFRA with an increase of 8.46% and 8.01% respectively, while the top losers of group A include NESTLE INDA and WELCORP with a decrease of 3.23% and 3.18% along with CYIENT and MCLEOD RUSSEL INDIA LTD with a decrease of 2.98% and 2.40% at the close of the markets. The auto sector is up 248.64 points at 18,960.8 while the banking sector is up 342.28 points at 21,324.46 and the realty sector is up 20.96 points at 1,434.22. The Indian currency is up 0.08% at Rs 63.59 per dollar.
