BALBIR SINGH SR, BIRENDRA AND VANDANA BAG TOP HONOURS
It is something which never happened before in the game of hockey in India. The national body honoured the present and the past players at a glittering function held in the national capital. The ceremony witnessed the legendary Balbir Singh senior being honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the inaugural Hockey India Awards.
