At least six people killed as high-tension wire fell on bus
Auraiya, July 27 (ANI): At least six people were killed and others injured when a high-tension wire fell on a bus and it caught fire in Erwakatra area, police said. When the private bus was being reversed, it hit an electricity pole and the high-tension wire fell on it after which it caught fire. The bus was going from Chhibramau area of Kannauj district to Vidhuna district in Auraiya. The injured are admitted to the government hospitals nearby. Villagers gathered at the spot and started pelting stones on officials accusing the electricity department for lack of safety measures. Meanwhile, District Magistrate Mala Srivastava, CO Rajiv and Sub- Divisional Magistrate Ghanshyam reached the spot of the incident.
