Assurances fail, NE people continue to flee from Ktaka

Bangalore/Mysore, Aug 17 (ANI): Despite Karnataka Chief Minister Jagdish Shettars assurance of safety and security to thousands of panic stricken northeast people, their fleeing from the region continues. Karnataka law minister, Suresh Kumar said that government had taken all necessary steps to ensure the safety of the northeastern migrants. Similarly, member of the Hindu radical outfit, Vishva Hindu Parishad, Kundan said that the people from the northeast should not leave Bangalore and he also assured them of protection on behalf of the administration.
