Asaduddin Owaisi stands firm on his remarks on Bharat Ratna for Vajpayee, says system should be tran
New Delhi, May 05 (ANI): AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday stood firm on his remarks on Bharat Ratna for former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and said that the system to decide on such issues should be transparent. He said that the criteria for giving such high civilian awards should be changed and a public discussion should there which will be good for the country. Owaisi had raised question on honouring Vajpayee with Bharat Ratna alleging that the BJP's most acceptable face had a role in Babri Masjid demolition.
