Arvind Kejriwal granted bail in defamation case filed by Punjab Minister
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail in defamation case filed by Punjab Minister Bikram Singh Majithia. The court asked the Aam Aadmi Party chief to furnish a bail bond of Rs 40,000. On May 20, Majithia had filed a defamation suit against three AAP leaders, including Kejriwal, accusing them of making false allegations and statements against the ruling party member to tarnish his image for political gains.
