Army Chief Dalbir Singh Suhag lays wreath on soldier who died in Kashmir militant attack

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag on Wednesday laid a floral wreath on a soldier who died in gun battle with militants in Kashmir that killed five. The army chief saluted the martyred soldier as the army jawans covered the coffin with tri-colour. Martyred Dharma Rao was given full honours by the army and his body will now be sent to his native place. The ceremony took place at a military hospital in New Delhi. The soldier, Dharma Rao was critically injured and immediately rushed to 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries. Militants had killed four Indian soldiers and an employee of a mobile phone shop in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, in a spate of attacks in the disputed region.
