Anna apologizes for assault on media
New Delhi, July 31 (ANI): Veteran anti graft crusader and promoter of non violence Anna Hazare today apologized to media persons for the the misbehaviour of his supporters with them at Jantar Mantar. On Monday night, when Team Anna member Shanti Bhushan alleged that the media was not projecting their protest in right light, scuffle broke out between Anna supporters and mediapersons after which the Broadcast Editors Association (BEA) had sought an apology from Team Anna. Condemning the scuffle, Hazare warned his supporters not to indulge in violence else he would call off his movement against corruption. Meanwhile, Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal also apologised for the incident.
