Anil Vij Requests WFI To Reconsider Players Exclusion
Days after the Wrestling Federation of India barred 15 wrestlers- including Geeta Phogta, Babita Phogat, Ritu Phogat, Sangeeta Phogat and Satyawart Kadian- from attending the national camp and the consequent trials for the Asian Games, Haryana Sports Minister, Anil Vij has requested the WFI to reconsider the players’ exclusion and give them an opportunity as they are medal contenders for the upcoming Asian Games.
