Akshay Kumar Reveals Shameful Realities Of Bollywood Awards

Akshay Kumar is always at his diplomatic best so, it is rare to see him let his guard down only once in a while. The hunk who is running from pillar to post promoting Housefull 3 was asked about Baby and why it did not win any awards. Guess that question never gets old. Akshay who is usually his non committal self was a bit ticked by the question as he answered candidly, “The reality of the awards is that you have to perform at the function in half the money, that’s how you win an award.” Well, is he taking a dig at Shah Rukh Khan here who wins at every popular awards function? Is he also referring to his acts across the event nights and his confession on how he once tried buying an award? No, Akshay does not stop there. He stresses again that if a star agrees to perform at a function in half the price and he/she will get an award! But the actor had a very different opinion about the National Awards. He said, “National Awards are credible because they see your work carefully and then they let you know if they like it.” He added, “If Baby was not nominated for the National Awards then it must not be that great.”Well, Akshay definitely is ticked off by the popular awards, so will he also go the Aamir Khan way?
