Aishwarya Rai Bachchan responds to Kalyan Jewellery ad controversy!
Kalyan Jewellers creative intention to present royalty, timeless beauty and elegance went horribly wrong after civil right activists slammed the creative. The ad showed Aishwarya appears decked in gold and seated majestically while a dark, impoverished boy is holding an umbrella to her. An organization wrote to Aishwarya stating that the ad promotes child labour and bonded labour and requested the actress and all concerned to withdraw the controversial ad. Aishwarya?s publicist, however, later reacted to the whole issue and said that the actual image was changed by the brand. They even attached the actual image that was taken to the reply as a proof.
