Air Force is getting prepared for war situations by using all logistics of defence: Nirmala Sitharaman
Dibrugarh (Assam), Apr 19 (ANI): Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the preparedness and readiness of the Indian Air Force fighters and helicopters are being tested at "India's biggest defence exercise, Gagan Shakti 2018." She said, "The preparedness of air force, strength and readiness of air warriors are being tested at the same time. The air force is getting prepared for a situation of war by using all logistics of the defence. She added, "We have to be prepared differently for the eastern borders. It's a comprehensive exercise to prepare for any war." Indian Air Force (IAF) fighters and helicopters are conducting the Advanced Landing Ground (ALG) operations during the ongoing Gagan Shakti 2018 exercise.
