Ailing wild elephant gives birth to a calf
Coimbatore (TN), Oct 25 (ANI): An ailing female elephant, which who suffering from a stomach ailment and was critical, gave birth to a male calf on Monday night at Chadivayal elephant camp in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore . Giving details, a Forest department officer said the elephant was found lying at a place and was very critical. He said that after special care including the medicines and vitamins the jumbo had a normal delivery. The condition of both the mother and calf is said to be stable and will be kept under observation for few days.
