Advanis remark turns Sonia furious
New Delhi, Aug 08 (ANI): Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who is normally calm in the house, today displayed some unusual aggression in the Lok Sabha when BJP senior leader L K Advani called UPA II illegitimate. An angry Sonia immediately demanded that the remark be withdrawn and then turned to her MPs and urged them to ensure Advani withdrew it. After strong protests from the Congress, Advani withdrew his comment. Later he also clarified that he made a mistake by speaking about UPA II and what he actually intended to say was the 2008 vote of confidence secured during the UPA I.
