Activists meet kin of suspected Maoists killed by security forces
Gaya, July 10 (ANI): Activists of People s Union for Civil Liberties met the family members of two villagers who were killed by security forces on suspect of being Maoists, in Gaya. The villagers have alleged that two innocent locals were shot by the police force in an encounter with the Maoists on June 10. The wives of the two villagers recalled the horror tale in front of the activists saying that their husbands were not Maoists as alleged by the police officials but had gone outside the house to feed the animals. Speaking to media persons former secretary of People s Union for Civil Liberties, Kishori Das recorded the statement of the villagers and said that while two people were killed, one local was put in jail by the police officials on the suspect of being a Maoist.
