ALLAMA IQBAL AWARDED TARANA – E – HIND AWARD POSTHUMOUSLY

The prestigious “Tarana-e-Hind” Award has been conferred upon Allama Iqbal, the great poet who penned the famous patriotic piece, ‘Sare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara’, posthumously by West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee. The event took place in a colourful programme at Nazrul Mancha.
The award was received by Prof. Dr. Waleed Iqbal, grandson of Allama Iqbal.
