3rd National Snow Rugby Championship begins in Gulmarg
GULMARG (Jammu & Kashmir) Feb 20 (ANI):The two-day National Snow Rugby Championship 2017 began in Jammu and Kashmir’s Gulmarg yesterday afternoon.Teams from 10 states including Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and host Jammu and Kashmir are taking part in both men's and women's events.The championship is organised by the State Rugby Association and sponsored by J-K state sports council.With more than nine national teams from different states, including the host team of J-K, participating in the championship Gulmarg, the event generated a lot of buzz.Players hope these types of events will boast tourism in the Kashmir valley.
