Bollywood actors speak out in support of Indian Army's strike into PoK
New Delhi, Sept 30 (ANI): A host of Bollywood celebrities, including megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and others, have expressed their support and commended the Indian Army's action to root out terrorism across the Line of Control (LoC) on Thursday. Appreciating the ‘much-requisite' surgical strike, actor Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to express his opinion. Bollywood King Khan also took to micro blogging site and thanked the Indian Army for successfully carrying out the anti-terrorism operation. Singer Adnan Sami, who is now an Indian citizen, congratulated the Indian Prime Minister for the brave move. Celebs namely Riteish Deshmukh, Varun Dhawan, Farhan Akhtar and Lata Mangeshkar among others also showered their support on Twitter. The surgical strikes were in response to the terrorist attack at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir that killed 19 Indian Army soldiers.
