The star-studded Calvin Klein Women in Film event took place in Cannes and brought out top actresses to promote equality of women in front and behind the camera. Stars attending included Rachel Weisz, Sienna Miller, Jake Gyllenhaal & Emily Blunt, who has lent her voice to the growing outcry of a recent revelation that the festival is banning flat shoes at premieres with a heels-only policy.
The dark romantic comedy, ‘The Lobster’ premiered at the Cannes Film Festival with stars Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz walking the famed red carpet. Earlier, Farrell spoke about the film’s theme of loneliness.

The stars were big and bright deep in the heart of Texas for the premiere of the History channel’s mini-series, ‘Texas Rising’. Bill Paxton, Brendan Fraser, Ray Liotta & Kris Kristofferson were on hand for the screening held at the historic Alamo. Native son, Paxton spoke about how he feels about playing legendary Texan, Sam Houston.
