Politicos react after Delhi LG takes on Kejriwal, says 'all files must come to me'
New Delhi, May 04 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Monday after Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung wrote to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asserting that all government files must come to him. Kejriwal had recently directed officials and departments of his government to avoid "bothering Jung's office" by sending him files. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that Kejriwal is trying to take over the power of the Lt Governor and that he should not violate the Constitution as he is holding a constitutional position himself. Reportedly, after taking charge Kejriwal directed that files related to the police, public order and land - subjects over which his government has no jurisdiction - should be routed through him. Leaders from various political parties gave mixed reaction over the issue.
