MALVIYAS HONOUR THE MODI FACTOR (NNIS SPECIAL)
Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is known to have had a soft corner for Madan Mohan Malviya, every time Modi visits Varanasi he makes it a point to pay floral tributes at the statue of the veteran leader and freedom fighter. Even today when he is scheduled to visit the city he will offer tributes at the statue. He has also been calling for a Bharat Ratna in each of his campaign rallies during the Lok Sabha polls. Hence it is no surprise that Madan Mohan Malviya is one among those named for the top honour. In this special report we look at what the Malviya family says on the honour.
