A telecom revolutionary Sunil Bharti Mittal dreamt of doing something new, innovative and unique to India not following the footsteps of his father instead is the harbinger of revolution in the use of cellular phones and telecommunication. Mittal was born in 1957 in the desert state of Rajasthan and completed his graduation from the prestigious Harvard Business School, America. This young enthusiast commenced his journey for industrial gain and to become a successful entrepreneur from his business of the cycle parts in 1977 when he was only 18 years of age. Then he became a dealer of generators imported from Japan. But every attempt of the interested person got failure one by one. Without losing patience Mittal during the 1990s started his grand journey into the entrepreneurial sector based on the Mobile GSM service. This created an epoch in the Indian market, the largest profit-giving market in the world with a largest selling and profit. Mittal named the telecommunication brand Air-tel which gained a large success within a very few years of its launch with over more than fifty millions of customers thus giving a large profit to the entrepreneur. Sunil Mittal has been the Chairperson of Bharti group that controls the telecommunication business in India.
