Bermuda is going to take part in its first world cup ever in its cricketing history. Though it has been granted as the status of Associate member but is yet to receive full ODI membership. However, it has appeared in 8 ICC Trophies and came runner up in 1982. Bermuda qualified for the semi-final of the 2005 ICC Trophy and paved their way to this 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup. For the present time they have official ODI status but until 2009 ICC World Cup qualifier.
As a part of Group-B along with India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh it will start its World Cup campaign against Sri Lanka on 15 th March of 2007 followed by matches against India (19 th) and Bangladesh (25 th) all in Trinidad.

The team though new in international cricket arena but comprises of some talented young cricketers who has to show some good performance in this World Cup.
Irvine Romaine – He is the perfect all-rounder with abilities to bat, bowl and wicket keeping. As the captain of the team, he is capable of strategy making in crucial situation though he has only appeared in 19 ODIs so far.
Dean Minors – Having an experience of 17 ODI matches, Minors can contribute a lot with his all-round performance.
Janeiro Tucker – With 18 ODIs in his belt Tucker is one of the important players in the squad both as a batsman and a spin bowler. His experience can be counted a lot for the success of Bermuda Cricket Team.
