Botswana News: This South African nation shares its border with Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. This nation is widely acclaimed as a non-corrupt nation with relatively good human rights record. It is also the world?s largest producer of diamonds, which has enhanced its economic standards. Also it is one of the least explored places in Africa, and offers many adventurous safaris for the tourists. Along with this, it has vast forest reserves, which inhabit a variety of wildlife and are a paradise for the botanists and avid birdwatchers. The famous Kalahari Desert comprising vast grasslands and savannas is situated here along with two other largest National parks such as Kalahari Game Reserve and Gemsbok. Apart from its ecological abundance, Botswana also offers abundant archaeological wealth such as the Tsodilo Hills, which has a collection of over 2,000 San Bushman rock paintings.
