Angola News: Angola is Africa?s one of the major producer of crude oil and diamonds yet it remains one of the poorest country of the world due to its decade long civil war that ruined almost everything of this country. After gaining its independence from Portugal in 1957 the bitter clash for power between political parties and rebel group started and sooner it transformed into decade long blooded civil war. The civil war of Angola was supported by two power block of world i.e. America and Russia. This extra territorial war assistance by power blocks is due to its political, social and economic in nature. Millions of people were killed in this decade long civil war. After intervention of UN peacekeeping force in 1999 the decade long bloody civil war come to halt and several reconstruction work was initiated in order to bring out Angola from its traumatic past.
