Man found stabbed to death at Metro station

Two days after missing from home, a 58-year-old man found dead near the Dwarka Sector-9 Delhi Metro station today (April 28). Police confirmed that he was stabbed to death.
The victim Giriraj Singh, a resident of Palam Village and real estate agent, received a call on Sunday evening on his mobile phone. ter attending call he left office but didn’t return.
His family members then registered a case with the police.
'My father was resting in his office Sunday evening when he received a call on his mobile phone. He left saying he would be back soon. But when he did not return, we lodged a complaint with the police,’ Vijay Singh, son of Giriraj, told reporters here.
From the phone call details, it was traced that a rickshaw puller Pramod had called him on the directions of Jai Bhagwan. Pramod later told the police that Jai Bhagwan had paid him Rs 2,500 to call the old man.
Meanwhile, police is pointing it as a personal enmity but denied to tell anything further as the investigation is in its initial stage. Pramod and Jai Bhagwan are now under police scanner.
’Investigation is in its early stage and we are yet to establish their role in the case,’ said a police officer.
