De-linking of pay scales of scientific workers in ISI from UGC pay scales

New Delhi, Jan 15 (ANI): The Union Cabinet today considered a proposal of Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation to de-link the pay scales of scientific workers (faculty) in Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata from the UGC pay scales.

 

It also considered bringing them at par with thosin the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

 

Scientific workers (faculty) included professors, associate professors and assistant professors. (ANI)
