'Not Islamic to make allegations in public', Malay political leaders told

Kuala Lumpur, July 5 (ANI): Malay political leaders should not make allegations against each other in public, as this is not condoned by Islam, a senior minister Nik Aziz Nik Mat has said.

 

The New Strait Times quoted him as saying that Muslims were required to take care of five important things in life,ncluding dignity, property and the mind.

 

"If there's proof (of the wrongdoing), take it to court. There's no need to make it public, he added.

 

Nik Aziz was commenting on an allegation by former student leader Mohammad Saiful Bukhari Azlan that he was sodomised by Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. (ANI)
