Pregnant American man gives birth to baby girl

London, July 4 (ANI): Thomas Beatie, the transgendered pregnant man, has given birth to a healthy baby girl.

 

The child had been due to be delivered on July 3 by Caesarean section, but bearded transsexual Thomas went into labour early and had to be rushed to hospital on June 29.

 

The US man, w made headlines after declaring that he was pregnant, calls his baby girl "little miracle".

 

The tot was delivered in secret the same day in a special section of the hospital away from the other mums.

 

"Thomas gave birth without any problems at all, but amid tight security," The Sun quoted a source, as saying.

 

"The baby girl is healthy and mother - or father - and baby have been allowed to leave the hospital," the source added.

 

Thomas - who was born female but became a man in his 20s - is now hoping to strike a 500,000 pounds deal for the exclusive first pictures of his baby.

 

He has also had a documentary team following him during the last months of his pregnancy. (ANI)
