London, December 15 (ANI): Sound of Music actress Dame Julie Andrews has likened the experience of singing after throat operation to the afterglow of sex.
The 74-year-old, who underwent surgery in 1997 that damaged her vocal cords, is set to perform a one-off concert at London's O2 arena.<>
In her biography Home, the Oscar winner described being able to sing "as addictive as opium" and "like sex before the moment of climax", reports the Telegraph.
She told Channel 4 that singing was still pleasurable to her but was now "warm, glowing, it's, if you really want it, it's that moment after sex when you say 'Ah, great'". (ANI)
