Daniel Day-Lewis intimidated Sophia Loren on 'Nine' sets

London, Nov 10 (ANI): Italian actress Sophia Loren has revealed that she was uncomfortable working with Brit actor Daniel Day-Lewis on movie musical 'Nine', as he was very "scary" and "intimidating".

 

Loren, 75, appears alongside actresses Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman and Dame Judi Denchn the upcoming film.

 

But it was Day-Lewis, 52, who made her feel nervous and overshadowed by his acting ability.

 

"Daniel is incredible. He is hypnotic, magical, beautiful and brilliant; but he is also very scary. Every time I did a scene with him he was so deep and so real that it was almost intimidating," the Daily Express quoted her as saying. (ANI)
