Mughal Garden in Delhi is one of the most beautiful, renowned and well-designed gardens of the country. Situated within the Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House) complex, Mughal Garden is well known for a wide variety of beautiful and fragrant flowers including different species of roses (25 varieties), marigolds (13 types) and bougainvillea (60 types) spread over Spread over 6-hectare of land, divided into three types of gardens – Rectangular, Square and Circular Garden. It also contians everal scarce varieties of herbal and medicinal plants and atypical types of herbs and shrubs plant

British Architect Sir Edwin Lutyens along with W.R. Mustoe had designed this garden in the favour of the then first lady, Lady Harding – the wife of then Viceroy Lord Harding in 1929. The architectural style of this garden is based on Mughal style of architecture that was influenced with that of British style. The Mughal Garden is set to open from 11th February for a month for the common public. Mobile, camera, electronic instruments and any metal goods are not allowed for entering in the premise.
