Enraged Maya sacks over 100 officers
The BSP supremo Mayawati’s fury continued on the second day after reviewing the recently concluded Lok Sabha general election results in which Bahujan Samaj Party could not perform according to her expectation and could secure only 20 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh.
BSP slipped to third position after Samajwadi Party (SP) and Indian National Congress.

Her arch-rival SP bagged 23 seats while Cong successfully raised its numbers of seats to 21 from 9 in 2004 Lok Sabha general elections.
After reviewing the election, UP Chief Minister and BSP president Mayawati Tuesday dissolved the party’s frontal organisations - ‘Bhaichara’ (caste-based committees) – district coordination and the election booth committees across the country. All party in-charges of different states have also been fired, according to party sources.
Mayawati, also famed as ‘Behanji’, has also terminated two party candidates – Members of Legislative Assembly of Uttrakhand Chaudhary Yashvir Singh and Qazi Nizamuddin, alleging them for working against the interest of party. Both of the Uttarakhand MLAs have been served a notice to clarify their deeds within 10 days.
Earlier on Monday, the UP Chief Minister had also sacked nearly 100 administrative officers and members of different Corporations in UP where BSP suffered defeat from marginal difference of votes.
However, BSP’s national general secretary has told the media that all the officers and members have submitted their resignations owning moral responsibility of the party’s non-impressive show in the polls.
If BSP internal sources are to be believed, BSP Chief can also order for more fires.
All the top officials of the state are in great fear and the Chief Minister has called them in the state capital soon.
All these decisions were taken at the party’s national executive and parliamentary board’s meeting, organised on exclusive review of UP election results in Lucknow, the state capital on Tuesday.
