New Delhi, May 15 (ANI): Responding to the demand of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar that he will support that coalition which gives 'Special Status' to his state, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said that people are reading too much into it.
"All I can say is that people are reading too much into it. The Congress is happy and waiting below the grape tree, waiting for the fruit to be sweet, but to their surprise the grapes will be sour," BJP Spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said at a press conference here.
"We support Nitish Kumar's demand for 'Special Status' for Bihar. The UPA has ignored Bihar for five years," Javadekar added.
He further said his party would release an official statement only after the results are declared.
"All the political leaders have been and are still in a meeting. Venkaiah Naidu and Mr. Advani also be here in Delhi. Results will be declared tomorrow. So, we will just have to wait and see. We will release an official statement once the results are declared," Javadekar added. (ANI)
