Kate Hudson's "neediness" lead to split with Lance Armstrong

Washington, Aug 3 (ANI): Lance Armstrong reportedly split from actress Kate Hudson because she was "just too needy."

Armstrong, 36, felt Hudson, 28, came on "too strong, too fast," revealed a source at the seven-time Tour de France champion's LiveStrong foundation.

"Kate was way too desperate, a woman who clearly can't be on her own without a man in her life at all times," foxnews.com quoted the source, as saying..

Armstrong is also believed to have thought that Hudson was escalating the relationship into something more serious than he wanted by turning dates into family outings with her son Ryder, 4, from her marriage to musician Chris Robinson.

The source also tells that Armstrong's relationship with singer Sheryl Crow, which lasted for three years, was successful because "Sheryl's one very independent woman. Lance liked that." (ANI)
