Becks shoots cameo for 'Sesame Street'

London, Aug 1 (ANI): Soccer ace David Beckham has filmed a guest appearance for the children's show 'Sesame Street'.

 

The cameo by the footballer, who plays for LA Galaxy, saw him teach the character Elmo how to spell the word 'persistent'.

 

The 33-year-old joined the likes of James Blunt, Lauren Bacall and Hillary Clinton to appear on the kids' show, reports the Mirror.

 

Other celebrities starring in the new season of 'Sesame Street' include Jessica Alba, Jack Black, Jenny McCarthy and Heidi Klum.

 

The episode of the popular show's 39th season will be screened in the US on 11 August. (ANI)
