The sixth Potter film is said to be the darkest yet and will hit theatres on November 21 in the UK.
The Telegraph reports that the new trailer carries the tagline: "To know the future - return to the past."
It features a flashback to when Lord Voldemort was 11-year-old Tom Riddle.
Riddle's character is being played by newcomer Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, the nephew of Ralph Fiennes, who played Lord Voldemort in previous Potter films.
Director David Yates has said: "The fact that he's related to Ralph wasn't the primary reason for choosing him. Primarily I went for Hero because of this wonderful haunted quality."
'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' has already been chosen for this year's Royal Film Performance on November 17.
Money raised from the screening will go to the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund. (ANI)
