Ghaziabad, May 1 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh travelled through Ghaziabad, from where he is contesting Lok Sabha elections, with a road show that included a door-to-door campaign.
Singh covered a stretch of 110 km and visited Morta, Morti, Basantpur Sainthli, Muradnagar, Rawali and other villages. He interacted with farmers and assured them to solve their problems on the priority basis.
Singh, a former agriculture minister, promised to provide uninterrupted water and power supply and adequate compensation for land acquired for developmental activities if his party came to power.
