However, according to some, Yuki encountered some not-so-impressive matches as the tournament saw early exist of the top three seeds.
The top-seed South African Raven Klaasen bowed out in the semis to Vishnu Vardhan and the second-seeded Ito Yuichi of Japan retired in the first round, while the third-seeded Goran Tosic crashed out in the quarter-finals.
Now, Yuki will open the tournament in an encounter with Rohn Gajjar, whom he had defeated in the semi-final. However, Vardhan will start his campaign in the first match against Belgian Frederic De Fays. No doubt, his confidence is on high after upsetting Tosic and Klaasen in the last event.
Klaasen, Ito will continue to be the first and the second seeds this week while German Pirmin Haenle is the third seed.
