Delhi police arrests three persons including a Nigerian with over 21 kg heroin
New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): In a major drug haul, Delhi police seized more than 21 kilograms of heroin and arrested three persons including a Nigerian national here on Monday.
The Narcotics Branch of Delhi police in one of its biggest drug seizures in Delhi seized the contraband containing a huge quantity of heroin, precursor and chemicals worth 150 million rupees.
According to police, acting on a tip off that a Nigerian national was to strike a deal with a drug dealer, Delhi Police set a trap to nab them.
"The Nigerian national whom we have arrested today was arrested before also in a similar drug case. We have got some information about their sources and we are making further investigations and hope to arrest all those involved in this drug racket," said Alok Kumar Verma, Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime, Delhi.
Besides the Nigerian national, two Indians have also been arrested.
The raids at their house led to the recovery of more than 21 kilograms of heroin. (ANI)
