Sir Ben Kingsley insists leading ladies take charge of love scenes
Washington, July 28 (ANI): When it comes to filming sex scenes in movies, Sir Ben Kingsley insists that his female co-stars take the lead - because he doesn't want them to feel awkward about the staged intimacy.
The actor has paired up with many a pretty ladies, the most recent being Penelope Cruz in 'Elegy'.
He admits that he lets his leading ladies choreograph the love scenes, reports Contactmusic.
"Whenever I have the privilege of having a great leading lady, I do ask my leading lady, `I want you to choreograph the scene, I want you to be comfortable... and whatever you feel enhances your character and your narrative in the film... I will not lead the dance,'" he says.
And, Sir Ben insists that the move works 'beautifully'.
"It seems to work beautifully. It gives them a security and a confidence. They know they're not going to be molested, they know that they're in charge," he added. (ANI)
