'My dad's no mean tyrant', says Sean Connery's son
London, July 28 (ANI): Sir Sean Connery's son Jason has lashed out at people criticising the former James Bond star after it emerged that he had cut his child out of his will.
Jason, 45, insists that the whole tale has been made up and that his famous father is wrongly being portrayed as a 'monster'.
"My dad's no mean tyrant," The Mirror quoted Jason, as saying.
"I am sick of my father being portrayed as some sort of monster. This could not be further from the truth.
"He and I have never had a conversation where he said, 'You will never receive a penny.' That is a lie," he added.
Jason is Connery's son with his first wife Diane Cilento, and it was she who revealed the news.
Cilento said that the actor told their son several years ago that he would 'never receive a penny' from him, as he wanted Jason to pursue a career and earn his own living. (ANI)
