London, April 15 (IANS) Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx has apologised to 'Hannah Montana' star Miley Cyrus after telling her to 'make a sex tape and grow up'.
The actor-singer had verbally attacked 16-year-old Cyrus, advising her to take heroin 'like Britney Spears' and 'start seeing a lesbian' a la Lindsay Lohan, recently.
But Foxx now regrets his outburst and says he was just kidding, reported thesun.co.uk.
He told US chat show host Jay Leno: 'I so apologise and this is sincere. I'm a comedian and you guys know that whatever I say, I don't mean any of it. And sometimes as comedians we go a little bit too far.'
'We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus and I just want to say, I apologise for what I said. I didn't mean it maliciously. You know I'm a comedian. You know my heart.'
