London, July 26 (ANI): Hundreds of office workers at a west London office park have broken a world record by creating the largest-ever mosaic - made entirely of sweets.
The mosaic, in London's Chiswick Park, is made up of 250,000 Smarties and depicts a sweet-scape of the capital's landmarks including Big Ben and the Royal Albert Hall.
The artists - more than 4,000 employees at the west London office park plus members of the local community - broke the Guinness World Record with their edible depiction of attractions.
The new official holder of the record for largest candy mosaic measures 40 square metres (48 square yards).
It beat the previous record of 37.126 square metres achieved by the Calderdale Education Service in Halifax on February 4-5 2006.
"The mosaic is really fabulous. You can see the Smarties' colours all the way through the park," Telegraph quoted Frank Chambers, adjudicator for Guinness World Records, as saying.
The mosaic was designed to promote London to visitors. (ANI)
