Raipur, Apr 11 (ANI): As the time of elections in Chhattisgarh nears, the demand for regional film artists increases.
In a bid to woo the voters, the people of Raipur were recently treated with performances by junior and known film artists of Chhattisgarh film industry in an election campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate, Ramesh Bains.
"We are presenting those songs to the audience which are already known to them. By using the music of those songs we present the election songs. So it works both as a message and entertainment," said Shamanidhi Mishra, an artist from Chattisgarh film industry.hese film artists, during the campaigning, performed on stage and later interacted with the voters.
"I liked it. Especially the songs and the dance performances. We were being advised whom to vote and whom not to...I came to know about the candidates and their contribution to the society and its welfare," said Rekha Yadav, a local.
