PM to visit Kerala on April 11
Kozhikode, Apr 9 (ANI): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will visit Kerala for a day-long election campaign on April 11.
Talking to reporters here, District Congress Committee (DCC) President K C Abu revealed that after addressing an election rally in Kochi, Singh would visit Kozhikode to address a public meeting there at 3 p.m.
He further informed that Union Defence Minister A K Antony, Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi, Opposition Leader Oommen Chandy and Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Ramesh Chennithala would be present.
On April 7, Singh had to cancel plans to address an election rally in Dibrugarh, Assam, due to inclement weather and security threats in the area. (ANI)
