London, July 25 (ANI): A decade old love song 'Amazed' has topped the list of most requested love songs by newly-weds in Britain.
The ballad released by US rock group Lonestar in 1999 has been voted as the most popular wedding song of 2007.
According to Performing Rights Society, the song topped the wedding charts with 35 per cent of requests.
Lonestar's Amazed was played 14.6 million times in the UK last year, including radio and TV broadcasts, with Bryan Adams' Everything I Do (I Do It For You), finishing second on 6.3 million.
"Weddings tend to be more memorable when a couple include a special song," The Sun quoted Ellis Rich, chair of the PRS, as saying.
Angels by Robbie Williams took the second place, while You're Beautiful by James Blunt took the third position.
Still The One by Shania Twain and Truly, Madly, Deeply by Savage Garden landed at the sixth and seventh spot respectively.
