Guwahati, April 6 (IANS) The nominations of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Assam's Dhubri constituency Nilimoi Pradhani and Asom United Democratic Front (AUDF) contestant from Tezpur Laxmi Orang were rejected Monday on technical grounds.
Pradhani's nomination was rejected during scrutiny by the returning officer as he did not fill up the mandatory A and B forms along with his nomination papers.

The nomination of Orang, the Tezpur candidate for perfume baron Badruddin Ajmal's AUDF, was rejected by the returning officer because there were doubts if she was over 25, the minimum age for a candidate.
